Supplementary Course Curriculum

Preparation Needed BEFORE the Commencement of Training

Thank you for enrolling into the Fashion Institute of Style collaboration with the Sterling Style Academy.

In preparation for the class, please have the following with you on the first day of class:

· iPhone or Andriod phone

· A sketchbook for note taking and exercises

· Post-its, highlighter(s), multi-color pens for note taking within your books

· Scissors and glue stick

· A 1-inch binder

· A pack of 50 sheet protectors

· Tape measure

· Please bring several (at least 10) store catalogues, gossip or fashion magazines with many photos of outfits with you and from your respective countries if you're an international student

· Before you come to class, please cut out approximately 150 images/photos from fashion magazines or catalogues (or print Pintrest or Instagram photos) of colorful outfits in different fashion styles / from different brands so that you are able to complete the class exercises and homework with ease. The more images you cut out the better. Please have these cut outs ready for the first day of class as well as all the other supplies needed. Please cut out some pictures of outfits in one color and then some outfits in multi-colors.

You will also need the attached files as your training materials. We recommend printing them out, placing each page in a sheet protector, and storing it in a binder for the program.
